When I first bought the hat it seemed a bit tight. After wearing it for a while (~20 hours) it fits perfectly. From my experience the hat molds to fit your head with time, so if the hat seems a bit tight at first it might end up fitting perfectly after a bit of wear. Other than fit the hat has been great. It appears to be of good quality and has held up well- I have had it a few months and wear it regularly (and don't always treat it well) and it appears new. The only caveat is that this is my first cowboy hat- prior to this I've only worn baseball caps, so my opinion isn't based on years of experience with quality hats. For what it is worth, however, I have greatly enjoyed this hat and based on my first few months it is an exceptional hat that far exceeds my expectations.
